So! Bringing in the New Year, I have 3,000 pageviews! Yaaaaaay! And I'm about to turn 20 in a couple weeks! Yaaaaay! haha I probably- no definitely should update more, share the work I'm doing in school, a lot of it is layout stuff, so I'm not sure it is all that interesting here, but I'll upload it anyway. ^_____^
This year I have a lot of plans that I want to execute:
1) Work on my Portfolio!!!
2) Work on my portfolio.
3) Work on my PORTFOLIO!!
4) Get another job
5) Save up some money
6) Buy a car
7) Stay Healthy
8) Stay Sane
9) Do yoga everyday
10)Improve my digital painting skills
There's more but they are a little too complicated, so I'll leave it at that haha. I think that this year is going to be a good one, well it better be cause last year sucked! lol I am looking most forward to continuing with school, classes get more and more interesting as I go along, it's great. I am so glad that I am in school, it's pretty much my life. I'm learning Graphic Design and the more i learn about it, the more I absolutely adore it! ^____^ I am becoming one of those people who can spot a typeface and know exactly what it is, still can't quite guess the size though lol. There was this shirt I saw the other day that said something about Helvetica being the best typeface out there, and I wanted it sooo bad. I'll get it one day, hopefully hahaha then I'll take a pic in it and use it as my ID ^__~
Hmm, well, I must also say a few things about art. I have been noticing some things while being in art school that I didn't really take seriously before... One is that your mind works in such strange ways, you see so many things that end up coming into your work that you dont even realize the inspiration until you see that thing again. Second, it's imortant to be inspired when you are working on a piece beccause while your technical skill can get you through in a pinch, it's easy for a piece to become lifeless. Third, you can't drink, eat, breath and sleep art all the time, because you could become blind to it. Take a walk outside, or go for a drive, you will probably end up coming back to your work and noticing some things that you didn't notice before. Fourth, when you are doing what you love, work isn't really work at all. I think it's like childbirt, it's exhausting, but you love what comes out of you. That sounded kind of wierd... sorry haha i don't know how else to put it.
Well, that just about does it for now! ^___~ Happy New Year Everyone! I hope all of you have a fantastic and amazing and spectacular year!
